Autumn in Pembrokeshire

This week we are enjoying a leisurely week in Solva near St David’s. And, between some lovely coastal walks I have discovered some wonderful crafts and pieces of art work.

Yesterday, I ventured out to the Solva Woollen Mill, hidden away on a country lane but full of delights once you find it. I bought two Jackie Morris children’s books, which are wonderfully illustrated and will make beautiful Christmas gifts.

And, I couldn’t resist buying a sheep doortop which is handmade by Pippicraft.

The other great find of the week was some stunning embroidery works by the textile artist Amanda Wright

How lucky we are to have such talent on our doorstep!
