Fabric Landscapes

At a recent workshop we learnt how to make fabric landscapes under the expert guidance of good friend Hilary Carney.

A great day and a great opportunity to use up some of the many scraps of fabrics that had once again accumulated in the big plastic box under my sewing table!

And, finally, after a lot of adjusting and free machine embroidering I have completed my piece of work. It is based on a photo that I recently took whilst walking around Loch Maree in the Scottish Highlands.
