Making the Most of Artistic Talent

I have just spent an enjoyable morning at the Norwegian Church in Cardiff Bay where there is an exhibition showing Art in deMEntia. The exhibition has been organised by SOLACE, a charity that supports carers and people diagnosed with dementia. There are some excellent pieces of work on show – paintings, felt work and painted eggs.

I was also fortunate to meet Ruth Mclees, an artist who is based in Cardiff bay. She paints shadowy figures merging into the fabric of their surroundings, making it impossible to determine where one ends and the other begins.
