Hand Print Cushions

I have recently been involved in making a wall hanging to celebrate the 50th anniversary of a friends school and as part of that we worked with the reception class children to decorate a panel with hand prints.

Now, having assembled the panels there was a little hand printed fabric left so I decided to turn it into a cushion – and this is it – decorated with pencil buttons!

And then, I decided to make some child sized hands from brightly coloured fabrics – which I have appliqued onto another cushion. The turquoise hand has been embellished with a folk art design.
